Throughout the year, the City, Centennial Partners and Sponsors, and local organizations have created an action-packed lineup of events, community connections, and ways to celebrate the Centennial. Mark your calendars for these unforgettable events.
The International Coastal Cleanup
Come out to Spanish River Park to help clean up the beach and intracoastal mangrove habitats. This worldwide cleanup effort not only takes trash out of the environment, but it also provides valuable data to Ocean Conservancy to help them combat the growing problems of plastic in our oceans. Using an app on your cellphone, keep track and report what you and your group removed from the beach.

– Free tee shirts while supplies last, community service hours given.

Follow the Flock Sip N Paint
After a summer of following the flock around Boca Raton, join us for our end of summer Sip & Paint at The Flamingo House.
Paint one of our traveling flamingos and sip on Boca Raton’s 1925 centenniALE by Prosperity Brewers.

Boca Bowl Fan Fest and Family Midway
Fan Fest and Family Midway is a game day interactive area with live music, food, drinks, community organization event areas, and a kid zone. Summer Sips & Sounds: Centennial Edition
Celebrate Boca Raton’s 100th birthday during the Summer Sips & Sounds series featuring light bites, wine, a themed live performance, and a dessert reception with meet-and-greet. Presented by the Boca Raton Historical Society and Festival of the Arts Boca, this year’s event will transport guests through the decades—1920s to 1950s—with themed music, vintage décor, and era-inspired flair. Guests are encouraged to dress in vintage attire.

Cheers to 100 Event
Shops at Boca Center is hosting a “Cheers to 100” event on Tuesday, August 5 from 5 to 7 PM in conjunction with Boca Festival days. Guests will purchase a $25 ticket and will be able to go around to different restaurants and retailers for sips and bites and special offerings. All proceeds benefit the Boca Raton Historical Society.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Presentation

Centennial Arbor Day Tree Planting
The City of Boca Raton is partnering with Community Greening for an Arbor Day Tree Planting. This project is part of the Centennial Grove project to help enhance the City’s tree canopy. As part of this tree planting, 40 native shade trees will be planted along the walking/running trail at Spanish River Athletic Park. Volunteers must sign up in advanced.
